Recent rainfall has improved crop conditions around Jamestown, North Dakota, but some yield potential has already been lost. Doug Reimers says conditions vary across Stutsman County. “It was getting real dry and the corn was starting to show a lot of stress, and the beans were starting to show it too.” The damage seen from the stretch of extreme heat was too much. “What gave up during that heat is pretty much gone at this point.”
