Becker Soil & Water Conservation District has a full time opening for an engineering technician. This position works with SWCD, NRCS and other partners to provide engineering assistance necessary for landowners, community groups and local government units to implement and maintain a variety of conservation practices. A diverse background in pre-planning, problem evaluation, problem solving, design and installation of structural and biological conservation activities addressing non-point pollution is a requirement. Requirements include a two-year vocational degree in engineering, natural resource management or equivalent post-secondary education is required. Bayer is seeking a field testing agronomist. This is a residence-based, field-facing role with the position based in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The field testing agronomist is responsible for implementing a small plot field research program in crops such as wheat, corn, or soybeans.
