U.S. Custom Harvesters Inc. President Paul Paplow is currently in northwestern North Dakota. “I’m in Fortuna, North Dakota. We have machines in Ray and Tioga, also. We just finished up with lentils out in Fort Benton, Montana, and those machines are moving to North Dakota now.” Paplow said the lentil crop was very good, but there were weather setbacks.”There’s a lot of shatter; I’m going to guess they probably lost ten to 15 bushels an acre because of all the rain. Their durum is just starting to ripen now.”
