At the opening of the new Midwestern Food Safety Lab in Missouri, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins launched a plan to strengthen food safety. The five-part plan includes enhancements to USDA’s testing for foodborne pathogens, updated training and tools for food safety inspectors and more support for state meat and poultry inspection programs.
