Russia plans to provide free grain to African nations within the next month-and-a-half. Russian President Vladimir Putin previously said Moscow would send up to 50,000 tons of grain to six African countries and the Russian agriculture minister now offered a timeline. This decision came after Russia dropped out of the Black Sea Grain Initiative in July.
