Bayer will launch Vyconic next year, a “next-generation herbicide tolerance in soybeans” combining four technologies to give farmers more weed-control choices, said Senior Vice President Shannon Hauf at the Cultivate Conference. She called it the most significant development since Roundup’s 1970s debut, noting the science is ready, “it’s the process of getting approvals done around the world, that takes so long.” Bayer also announced a new partnership with Grand Farm stating “it is important to partner with companies in and outside of agriculture to drive innovation.” Listen to the interview.
