After a dry summer, the Wolford, North Dakota area has had a wet harvest season. “We’ve got a little canola left to finish,” said Chris Brossart. “I think soybeans will be right around the corner here, sometime in the next couple of weeks, pending the weather.” Like many farmers in the Northern Plains, Brossart had more than enough rain in the past week. “We’ll get to play in some mud the way it looks as we finish some things, and then we’re hoping it’ll dry off enough to get the soybeans done.”
