Clark Price, Washburn, North Dakota, says corn development is behind schedule, but timely rains during the growing season helped crops hold on. “We just kept getting timely rains throughout the summer, got a little dry toward the middle at the end of August, with about a month without any rain,” Price told RRFN. “Yeah, as the growing season goes, we were getting plenty of rain.”
