Crookston farmer Gary Wagner says the dry bean crop looks decent, but recent rains have slowed things down. “We’re combining navy beans, decent crop,” said Wagner. “Just like everybody else, we wish the price were better, but, these rains aren’t helping at all.” Wagner adds white mold is showing up in soybean fields, but the true impact will be seen once that harvest begins.
