5L Custom Harvesting found a disappointing winter wheat crop in Texas and better results in Oklahoma. Josh Lennox says he also has a crew working in Colorado right now. “On our third day going here, our average is about 55 (bushels per acre) on dry land, it’s really good. Wednesday, we were cutting and there was some 64 (pound) test weight and the protein’s been good as well, right at 12 (percent).” 5L Custom Harvesting, which is based in Elk City, Oklahoma, is moving to the Dickinson, North Dakota area next.
