Near Mahnomen, Minnesota, farmers have switched from corn back to soybean harvest. West Central Ag Services Territory Manager Clyde Kringlen says both yield and quality has been satisfactory. “Probably better than expected if I’m being honest. Some sunshine and wind really helped dry out the soybeans.” According to Kringlen, farmers are also taking off an above average corn crop. Moisture has been in the 20 to 22 percent range. “Most are comfortable with that, and I’m sure it will continue to get drier. Farmers barely left a track in fields that looked wet last week and are harvested now.”
