This week will be a turning point for the grain markets. Stewart-Peterson Senior Market Advisor Brian Doherty says there’s either good enough weather or there isn’t for the crop. “The idea of where the market is going to go is likely focused on acreage and conditions,” explains Doherty. “The crop is so late. How does one put a figure on a crop that’s 30 days behind? I don’t know how the market is going to figure it out other than through higher prices.”
