North Dakota commodity group leaders say farmers need greater certainty from federal farm policy. Speaking at the North Dakota Bankers Association Ag Credit Conference, North Dakota Grain Growers Association Executive Director Nick Sinner pointed to prevented planting coverage as one example. Sinner said growers want the previous buy-up option restored “back because it was a useful tool.” Sinner said farm program numbers also need to be “current, realistic and accurate.”
