Custom cutter Paul Paplow reports the Paplow Harvesting crew finished its work in northwest North Dakota, but has been unable to get started on soybeans back home in northwest Iowa. “It was real slow going up there,” said Paplow. “When we finished up our commitment ( in North Dakota), we moved back home to northwest Iowa and soybeans are ready to go, but it just won’t stop raining so we haven’t turned a wheel in more than ten days now.” Paplow found the crops in northwest North Dakota to be better than expected, although strong winds took a toll on some of the fields.”also down a lot.
