National Pork Producers Council President Rob Brennan sees more unity among agricultural organizations in the current farm bill debate than in recent years. “I think a lot of the frustration is because we’re watching folks on the Hill and in different parts of the political conversation pick fights amongst themselves that none of us are asking them to.”Brennan said that frustration is being felt across farm country. “It feels, I think, to a lot of ag producers around the country that we’re not asking you to go to partisan warfare, so why are you? Because that’s not what any of us have asked of you.”
