The Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Health and Human Services have a new interagency memorandum of understanding to strengthen scientific collaboration for the ongoing glyphosate review. Under a new agreement, the agencies will exchange scientific information, identify research gaps and conduct additional research into potential human health effects. The work will consider occupational and dietary exposure, cancer and reproductive and developmental effects. EPA retains authority over pesticide registration decisions and is continuing its glyphosate registration review.
