Early soybean harvest results are showing the impact of this summer’s dry weather across portions of eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota. Pioneer Strategic Account Manager Cole Ehrlin said some of the earliest soybeans are being harvested. “The lightest, sandiest ground in our territory, we’re seeing a lot of probably 20 to 25 bushel,” Ehrlin said. “As guys have gotten into some of the little bit better ground, maybe got a little bit more rain through the summer, we’ve had some 0.4s coming off here, low to mid 40s is getting a lot of that.” The better yields are providing some optimism as harvest expands.
