Gulf Arab nations were scheduled to meet today with the Iranian foreign minister to discuss the management of the Strait of Hormuz. Those talks were postponed over the weekend when it became obvious that an agreement would not come out of the meeting. Oman wants to reschedule the meeting, but the Iranian president is saying this important shipping route will only reopen once the U.S. ends its blockade.
