The first group of North Dakota FFA student auctioneers will have an opportunity to put their skills to work during the Big Iron Farm Show. “Then, in February of 2027, we are going to be doing a preliminary contest for those kids and any other kids who want to get involved between now and then at the 75th annual North Dakota Auctioneers Association convention in Fargo,” said NDAA’s Ben Stiegelmeier. “From there we’ll take the top five or ten kids and have a championship contest at the North Dakota State FFA convention in June of 2027.” The first 25 students to register for the fall camp on September 16th will attend for free. Those students will be calling bids that afternoon in the RRFN Building at Big Iron. Registration information is available through the North Dakota Auctioneers Association.
