Farmland values continue to hold up despite tighter margins in agriculture. NDSU Extension Agricultural Finance Specialist Bryon Parman says the rapid appreciation in cropland values has slowed over the past two to three years. “We’re really starting to see that a lot more this fall in 2026.” The limited amount of farmland available for sale continues to support values because competition remains strong.
