The AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act is scheduled for a vote in the U.S. House during the week of September 14. The legislation has broad support in Congress but has not previously come up for a House vote. The bill would require automakers to include AM radio as standard equipment at no additional cost in new passenger vehicles. The National Association of Farm Broadcasting is among the groups that have advocated for the legislation.
