To put it simply, an abundance of political candidates filled the Minnesota Farmfest grounds. “There’s some pretty tight races here, and with the primaries happening, there’s going to be a lot of competition here,” said Minnesota Soybean Growers Association Past President Darin Johnson. The passage of a five-year farm bill remains a priority. “I feel like a broken record sometimes having this discussion, but I do feel like if we if finish the couple last little provisions we are going to end up with a farm bill.”
