Five nonprofit organizations are suing the USDA. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Seattle, challenges requirements issued under Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, arguing the rules force grant recipients to align with Trump administration policies. The administration says the changes are intended to eliminate what it calls “radical left ideology,” while the plaintiffs contend the conditions unlawfully restrict organizations receiving USDA funding.
