WinField United Crop Protection Sales Agronomist Ryan Peterson highlighted the use of adjuvants during this past week’s Answer Plot field day. Peterson emphasized that an adjuvant can help improve weed control and the desiccation process. Crops look excellent despite this hot, dry weather. At the time of Tuesday’s interview, central North Dakota had seen highs in the 90s for more than two weeks, and there hadn’t been measurable rainfall since the second week of June. “Sunflowers look fantastic. The corn is not rolling leaves; it’s grass green. Even the soybeans seem to be handling everything just fine for now.”
