The Livestock Marketing Association has announced its committee appointments for the 2026-2028 term following a record-setting annual convention in Deadwood, South Dakota. The new leadership will help guide the association’s policy and advocacy efforts on behalf of the livestock marketing industry. The Northern Plains are well represented, with Daniel O’Donnell of Stockmen’s Livestock Exchange in North Dakota joining the Animal Handling and Facility Management Committee, Nick Hayes of Winner Livestock Auction in South Dakota serving on the Emergency Preparedness Committee, and Kevin Larson of Aberdeen Livestock in South Dakota named to the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship Committee.
