Dr. Eric Berg has been named the interim head of the North Dakota State University Department of Animal Sciences. Berg has been on the NDSU faculty since 2007 and is nationally recognized as an expert in meat animal sciences. This opening happened earlier this month when the head of the animal sciences department, Guillermo Scaglia was appointed the interim associate director of NDSU Extension.
