Bayer CropScience wants the federal courts to dismiss antitrust allegations made by the Latham seed company. Latham claimed Bayer used illegal licensing agreements to prevent seed companies from developing off-patent glyphosate-resistant seeds. In Monday’s filing with the court, Bayer officials said nothing is stopping Latham from using a generic glyphosate-resistant corn seed and the case has no merit.
