NDSU Extension Soybean Pathologist Wade Webster says many soybean fields are reaching canopy closure and flowering, making this a critical time for disease management. “Things are looking to be pretty hot for white mold this season with some very, very consistent rains across much of the state,” Webster told RRFN. “There’s definitely been some farmers out there spraying at this point, and I expect there’s going to be a lot more spraying in the next couple of weeks when thinking about white mold for soybeans, dry beans and any of our other crops that are susceptible.”
