The cost of the July 4th cookout will be about four percent more than it was a year ago. According to the American Farm Bureau Federation Summer Cookout Cost Survey, the cookout meal for ten people will cost just under $74. That’s an increase of nearly $3 from last year. That total is the highest since Farm Bureau began conducting this survey in 2016.
