Recent rainfall provided a welcome boost for crops across portions of the Red River Valley. Grand Forks-area farmer Paul Sproule said the moisture arrived at an important time. “It covered a large area and turned out very timely; it’s very nice.” Weed management is the current focus. “We’re actively spraying and trying to keep ahead of everything like everybody else is,” he said. “We’re off to a good start here in our area.”
