Weed control has become a headache in northeast South Dakota. “Our challenge right now is a lot of people are using Liberty because they’re fighting resistant weeds,” said Keith Rekow, district sales manager, Dairyland Seeds. “We’re not getting enough heat and humidity for Liberty to work the way we want, and it’s been difficult finding days when the wind isn’t blowing, getting those applications done has probably been our biggest challenge.”
