orth Dakota Soybean Growers Association President Justin Sherlock said soybean farmers are looking for concrete results from ongoing trade negotiations, particularly with China. “They did seem to follow through with the 12 million metric tons of old-crop soybeans they bought for 2025, so I’m hopeful they will buy the 25 million metric tons, but we have no commitment and no word from the Chinese that this is a done deal.” Sherlock said growers are growing frustrated with delays in finalizing trade agreements. “Our members are telling us they want to see action. They don’t just want words anymore. They want to actually see results.”
