Near Hazleton, North Dakota, Mike Appert said recent moisture has helped crops emerge evenly and maintain strong early-season growth. “We were wet last fall and then we’ve had some real nice timely rains this spring,” said Appert. “Everything’s emerging nice and everything looks really good.” Weed control efforts are also progressing well when farmers can take advantage of favorable spraying conditions.
