New numbers from Minnesota’s Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program show conservation continues to pay off on the bottom line. For the seventh straight year, certified farms outperformed non-certified operations financially. A new study found certified farms averaged more than $197,500 in net income during 2025, compared to about $129,400 for non-certified farms.
