Scott German, Oakes, North Dakota, is pleased with his crop conditions. “I was a little nervous planting into some of this cold soil and the cold temperatures we had while we were planting, but I think we got probably one of the nicer stands of corn and beans we’ve had in the last few years”. Weed management is now on the chore list. “There’s still quite a little spraying that the farmers like to get done around the area so a couple of days of some sunshine to dry things out and a little less wind and we’d be in business down here.”
