The North Dakota 97th Annual State FFA Convention is happening this week in Fargo. North Dakota FFA State Advisor Nikki Fideldy-Doll says 13 competitive events are happening over four days. “For an event of this magnitude, there are a lot of moving parts and you know we owe really a big thanks to our ag teachers,” said Fideldy-Doll. “Once they get off the bus and check their own students in, all of our ag teachers jump right into working on various events to help make state convention a success and enjoyable for not only their own members but all of the other members that are in attendance.” A new convention highlight will be seen at this year’s convention. “We’re calling it ‘The Feed,’ think of it as a pre-session talk show similar to a sporting event where they analyze what is happening during that game. We have a group of individuals will be doing the same thing. This will be live-streamed prior to each session and available to everybody back home to view.”
