The New World screwworm continues moving northward in Mexico, raising concerns for the U.S. livestock industry. According to USDA APHIS, Mexico reported two new cases approximately 52 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has launched a public awareness campaign regarding the pest threat.
