Agri-Pulse is reporting Georgia Congressman Austin Scott is campaigning to become the next Republican leader of the House Agriculture Committee. The current Ag Committee Chair Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson is scheduled to reach the end of his six-year term limit in that role, although he could seek a waiver for an additional two years.
