During Tuesday’s Crop Watch broadcast, Euclid, Minnesota farmer Brent Strickler said many producers are growing anxious as wet fields and lingering frost continue to delay planting progress. “It’s hard to be patient. The frost is still coming out in our sandier, lighter soil.” Strickler said famers in the region are checking wet spots repeatedly while waiting for the soil to dry enough for fieldwork.
