The Langford, South Dakota FFA chapter was chartered just four years ago. Chapter President Bradyn Small was the first state officer candidate ever from Langford. “I just decided to dive headfirst into it. I decided to try out public speaking after not being so great at it and tried doing livestock judging even though I didn’t know a whole lot about livestock, because I wasn’t heavy into the agriculture community.” Small wasn’t in the slate of new state officers, but “I just kept pushing forward, kept trying new things.”
