USDA’s National Proving Grounds Network for AgTech will put Grand Farm at the head of the nationwide ag-tech-testing initiative, and NDSU Extension Director Greg Lardy says this program is part of the evolution of the relationship between USDA Agriculture Research Services, NDSU Extension and Grand Farm. “This is part of a broader agreement that we’ve had with kind of a trifold partnership between Grand Farm, USDA’s Agriculture Research Service (ARS), and NDSU. So, we’ve been working on this, it’s called the AgTech Cooperative Agreement that Senator Hoeven has helped us with for the past several years.” The National Proving Grounds Network, Lardy says, is all about Grand Farm. “So, this is really a launch of Grand Farm having a national role in coordinating some of these activities for USDA-ARS on a much broader scale.”
