A USDA trade mission to the Philippines is underway today through Wednesday. USDA Deputy Undersecretary Michelle Bekkering is leading this delegation. Nearly 60 people are in the delegation, including representatives of Potatoes USA, U.S. Dairy Export Council, U.S. Soybean Export Council and U.S. Meat Export Federation. The Philippines is ranked as the tenth-largest buyer of U.S. farm and food products.
