North Dakota was well represented at this year’s National Farmers Union Convention in New Orleans. “We’re really excited to have 56 delegates here from North Dakota, making sure that North Dakota’s voice is heard on the national stage,” said NDFU President Matt Perdue. “There are a lot of challenges facing family farmers and ranchers right now, and we need to make sure that we have the policy solutions that they need to respond to those challenges.” Twenty-one county organizations in North Dakota received awards for membership growth, and the state received NFU’s Outstanding Leadership award.
