A supplemental spending package to deliver emergency funding for the Iran war effort may be a vehicle for farm assistance and disaster relief. Senate Agriculture Committee Chair John Boozman said the uptick in energy and fertilizer costs associated with the war is another reason to pass farm assistance and a farm bill. The price tag for the war effort may make farm relief a big lift.
