USDA has updated its 2026 fiscal year domestic sugar marketing allotments. American Crystal Sugar Company’s revised allocation is over 2 million short tons, an increase of more than 30,000 short tons from a year ago. Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative had the most dramatic shift with updated allocation at 541,000 short tons. That’s a decline of 204,000 short tons from a year ago. Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative’s allocation also dropped. The revised allocation is 365,000 short tons, down 18,000 from last year.
