Minnesota agriculture officials have announced new state-specific restrictions on three dicamba herbicide products for the 2026 growing season. Applications south of Interstate 94 must end by June 12, while use north of I-94 is prohibited after June 30. Statewide, dicamba cannot be applied if temperatures exceed 85 degrees or if forecasts predict highs above that level. Federal label requirements also remain, including mandatory training, recordkeeping, approved drift-and volatility-reducing agents, and expanded buffer zones in sensitive areas.
