The Environmental Protection Agency has finalized a new label for the over-the-top use of dicamba in soybeans and cotton. Safeguards are in place to mitigate the risk of off-target movement of the herbicide. The new restrictions for 2026 include a reduction in the maximum application rate, increased use of volatility-reduction agents, and temperature-based application limits. The American Soybean Association released a statement saying the decision recognizes the importance of maintaining access to this weed management tool.
