Farm Bill Timeline

House Agriculture Committee Chair Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson plans to markup the new farm bill during the week of February 23 and have a floor vote before Easter. Much of the funding for commodity programs and market development was included in last year’s One Big Beautiful Bill, but this version will address loan limits, conservation and California’s Proposition 12.
