NDSU Saddle and Sirloin Club’s 100th Little International Livestock Show is fast approaching. This year’s theme is “Living Shepperd’s Vision” which honors the legacy of J.H. Shepperd, whose work in agricultural education laid the foundation for the “Little I” event back in 1922. This year’s Little ‘I’ Queen is Linnea Axtman, Fargo, who began the royalty selection process in October. “We are very excited for this year’s show! We are looking forward to having our largest show yet and having lots of alumni coming back” Windy Jacobson of Noonan, North Dakota and Montana Martinson of Otsego, Minnesota are serving as Little ‘I’ princesses. The Little International Livestock show is Saturday at Shepperd Arena and the Agriculturist of the Year Banquet, celebrating Jim Kirsch is Friday.
