USDA announced a new agreement with the United Nations World Food Programme to deliver up to $452 million in emergency food assistance through the Food for Peace program. The American Soybean Association praised the move, noting that U.S. soybean farmers are proud to help feed vulnerable populations worldwide and reaffirming its support for keeping high-quality U.S. soybeans central to global food assistance.
